02 The visibility gap

Your fleet is moving.
Your records should too.

Paper keysheets and shared spreadsheets were never built for a fast-moving pool fleet. By the time a record is updated, the vehicle has changed hands—and its location may already be unclear.

FleetCustody records who has the vehicle, where it was handed off, and the mileage, fuel, and condition entered at that moment.

07 Common questions

Built to be the easy part of fleet management.

Do drivers need to install an app?

No. Base QR opens in the driver’s mobile browser, so your team can check vehicles in and out without installing or updating an app.

Will it work with our existing vehicles?

Yes. FleetCustody is designed for mixed fleets. Each vehicle receives a durable QR tag linked to its unique record.

How does location work in Base QR?

At checkout or return, the driver records the yard, jobsite, facility, or other handoff location along with details such as mileage and condition. This gives your team a reliable last-known location without wired hardware.

How long does rollout take?

Most teams can start with a fleet import, tag placement, and a short workflow review. The Base QR tier requires no wired hardware installation.

What happens when GPS is available?

GPS will be an optional tier for continuous live location and trip visibility between handoffs. Teams can keep Base QR location records or add GPS to selected vehicles.
